I got word this morning that my boss’s house had a malfunction with the propane and her house exploded last night. Over the years she has gained a total of about 10-12 cats rescuing the ones from work that nobody would take (she is a vet). All but one so far is lost to the explosion. They have found one but the others are missing or have passed. She also lost many of her salt-water tanks as well.
Thankfully she was not home and neither were her two mastiffs (as they were with her). She was visiting her mother in the hospital that had to have emergency surgery.
Her house is not habitable at this point, but she doesn't really mind that so much. She just couldn't be more upset about all the "kids" that were lost in the accident.
As for now we are shutting down the clinic and waiting for further news. I will be there to reschedule all of her appointments and answer any questions that clients may have. Keep her in your thoughts!
