Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let everyone know that it was a year ago today that I had to put Pringle to sleep due to WHS. As you all know, since then I now have my baby Scoops and I love him to bits! I am going to light a candle today at church for Pringle. For those of you who helped me when he was sick, thanks again. I really appreciated all of the comfort and love I got from Chins-N-Quills and am happy to be a member. In honor of Pringle, if you have a few minutes, please visit his website. Thanks.

My boyfriend created the website soon after I put Pringle to sleep. It was quickly done, so there are spelling errors and such. That is also why it is not written in first person. I am going to ask him to fix the errors now that I can look at the website and not start balling my eyes out. I know it was the right decision and he was so loved that I never regretted anything I did or didn't do.

I am sorry that I never got to hear the stories when Pringle was alive but from what I know now I can tell how precious he was to you. I am sorry for his passing and I want to congratulate you on dealing with it so well and on getting another hedgie as that would be a hard thing to do.
I love the website and the pictures of your gorgeous little guy. I also think that putting the link for the WHS info was SUCH an awesome idea.
I wish you all the luck in the world on this hard day and you and Pringle will be in my thoughts. :hearts:

Thanks Sarah. It took me about 6 months before I could get another little one. It was hard at first to get used to the idea b\c Scoops is SO different than Pringle and I thought I was failing as a mother, but that quickly passed and now I think about Pringle with a smile b\c I know he isn't suffering anymore. It is a shame b\c I think he and Scoops would have gotten along.

Awww, Denise. I know how sad you must be feeling today. Pringle was such a beautiful and special little boy. We all feel like we knew him. I just know he has taken Cinder by the paw and they are frolicking together over the bridge. :)

Thanks Nancy. I am sure Pringle found Cinder and they are running on that big wheel. Maybe Cinder talked Pringle into eating some mealworms. He didn't like them!!

Your Pringle site is so sweet. I love his pictures (I especially love his 1st birthday pics, complete with birthday hat!!) He was one special little guy.
I know this must be a tough day for you. Keeping you and Pringle in my thoughts today. Give Scoops a big hug!!

Cinder share mealies, HA, not a chance. The only way Pringle would be able to get a mealie from her is if she was pre-occupied chewing on his quills.

I'm very sorry about Pringles. His site is a wonderful tribute to him. I'm in the midst of doing one for my special little guy(chin) who passed away just after Christmas.
