I am wondering why I cannot post a for sale ad? It tells me that I am not allowed access. Can someone tell me why? I am surprised it would let me post this here. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!! :)

From the FAQ:
Additionally: In order to post an animal or item for sale, CnQ Members must have a minimum of 50 posts and must be a contributing member of CnQ for future use of the classifieds. The person listing items for sale must be a member of this forum (i.e. no posting for friends, neighbors, banned members, etc.) These ads will be deleted.

I have posted for sale before and it let me, I haven't had any Chins for sale for awhile so I haven't posted, but, I have purchased off of posts. That is why I am a little confused. It didn't count the posts that I had already made. Thanks for replying though.

maybe you were under a different name and changed your name? that would cause you to lose your posts. it says that you only have 2 posts so you haven't posted much before under that name...?

You have to have a minimum 50 posts and be a contributing member of CnQ. You only have 2 posts which doesn't meet either requirement. :)

If you think you had more posts and they went down, it could have been due to the classified purge. Check this thread out: http://www.chins-n-quills.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90898

I will check it out, I know that I had changed passwords, but, I don't think that I changed names, anything is possible though. Oh well, I will have to post more that is all. At this rate I will have the posts at the end of the day LOL. I will also check the purge out, that maybe will help some too.

Keep in mind you have to be a contributing member.. Meaning posting just to raise your post count will mean chances are they won't allow you to post.

Megan is right. A contributing member is someone who is regularily posting advice, questions and participating in a productive way. Posting just to up the post count is not considered a contributing member. :)
