I was wondering, since I may acquire a second hedgehog (one that hasn't even been concieved yet, but will be very shortly) if I should add some kitten food to my mix when/if i bring him/her home with the other one I'm planning on getting. Right now I have CSFTCLS Adult Lite and Solid Gold cat formula for my mix, and neither are very high in fat...

I would say no. Hopefully you will get a sample of what they are eating so you can transition them to your current mix. When my albino's were young lasses (9 weeks) they were on Chicken Soup Kitten. I bought some to transition them and when it was gone, that was the end of the kitten food.

well it depend of the age of the hedgie (I got mine at 7 weeks). My breder said I sould buy a small bag of RC Babycat food and swtich to adult food after that. My girl need some extra fat (kitten food is "fater" than adult food) now since she run like crazy and lose weight. I guess you sould ask your breeder to be sure.

I'm no expert, but I wouldn't see the problem. The breeder I got mine from (and they're very trusted breeders) suggested adding some kitten food to my mix at least while it's still young. My hedgehog is 10 months old and he still gets a little kitten food in his mix as a treat, considering he doesn't eat any other treat foods. I think as long as your hedgie isn't fat, it wouldn't be a problem

I sugest a kitten food in the mix for younger hedgehogs and mothers. I also tell my customers to watch the hedgehogs weight and to back them off the kitten food when they reach about 6 months or so when the hedgehog is reaching it's adult stage. I have some runners that if I didn't have a kitten food mixed in they would look pathetic. I also give mothers a bit of kitten food in the mix to help with lactation and to make sure she has enough weight on her to support the hoglets.
