Question about breeding...?

I was just wondering how long a breeding pair should be together before being separated?

It can vary, but I usually do mine for a week. Some breeders will watch and make sure that the mating has taken place and then seperate them. As long as they get along leaving them together for a week or so is usually fine.

I think they're getting along pretty well. lol. They curl up next to each other while sleeping. It's rather cute :) But I THINK she might have been bred just because when I held her, I noticed a slight milky discoloration of the fur around her vagina... but I'm not sure, so we'll probably keep them together for a week.

sometimes on the females you'll notice red on their quills (from the males poking themselves while mating)
