Hello there! boy, I tried to ad pics after I typed this out and it deleted it all! no fair! lol anyway... Nice to meet you! I'm Stephanie (steph) and my husband and I have been considering gettign a hedgehog for some time now. I have been doing (and redoing when I forget lol) all my research because I like to be an educated animal mom! I currently do potbellied pig rescue and one day came home with this piglet in a backpack and said, "surprize hunny!" lol I'll never do THAT again! He is the best thing that has EVER happened to us...but the "50lb full-grown" pig is now 175lbs and still growing! and NOT overweight! lol So, I've learned my lesson and doing my research this time :) So any advice and help along the way would be AWESOME! Btw... I spell horribly and never correct it lol sorry! I am Sooo glad to be here and I hope to meet everyone at one point or another! THANX!

Yes, tehy are the 4th Smartest creature in the world! right up there with dolphins! He lives in the house, but goes outside to potty and play :) ...he roots up the back yard really bad lol they are very trainable...the pet trick champion of the world is a pig! Her name is Nellie and I knwo her owner. Muta (moodah), my pig is actually also litterbox trained as well, and he will sit for you on command, come on command, knows the phrase "get in the car" and "get out of the cerial cupboards!" and "shut that door!" (in ref to the fridge or under the sink..he likes dish soap lol)..also the word "outside" means "go thru the doorway". and of course...to get him to do ANYTHING the madic phrase is "YUM YUM!" lol and if you ask him, "How do good pigs ask?!" he will sit for you and stick his cute snout int he air asking for a treat lol
Well, if you want one do your research! they are VERY difficult to care for and need a TON of attention! Tootles!

She has her own house..my mother inlaw said NO to her living in their house so my father inlaw built her her own. It has heat and ac..and even a porch.. lol talk about living high on the hog.. hahaha
