I don't get bit very often but last night Quillson tried to remove part of my finger. I did deserve it though. After all, I gave him a bath and cut the nails on 3 feet.

A few months ago he had part of a toe amputated because he had some dead tissue on it. I think he might have it again and I was trying to have a good look at the foot. I guess I should have done that foot first because by the time I got to it, he'ed had enough. I told him I'd have a look later and was putting him back in his cage and CHOMP. One of those hold on and grind teeth to get a better grip type of chomp. It bled so much he had blood on his chin because he would not let go. The brat. He didn't get any mealies after that.... at least not till later.

I bet he's just sore about that foot. I've only had one chomp and hang on, that finger was sore for at least a few weeks afterwards.

Awww, poor Nancy...biting is never fun. But I guess you did have it coming...ahaha. You were almost asking for it, by thinking you could get all 4 feet done...that'll teach you. ahah.

Awww, sorry about the chomp!! But a bath AND cutting all those nails....it is to be expected. :p I got bit the other day too for trying to clip nails. I never got one of those chomp-and-hold-on ones though!! Razzle has never drawn blood (knock on wood) - just left some teethmarks. I just got a little "leave-me-alone" nip after trying to clip the front nails after already getting the hind feet. Razzle had ENOUGH. At least they let you know how they are feeling.

I hope Quillson's little foot is ok. I think you best let him calm down though before going to inspect. ;)

I think Quillson has forgiven me and his foot is fine. My finger, looks like it should hurt like heck but amazingly it doesn't at all. Lots of teeth marks and still red though.
