Failing liver

Well I need some thoughts and prayers right now. Rosie has been sick for the past few days and today she went completely down hill. Her skin turned yellow she has what looks like bruises on her face legs and abdomen. It's been determined to be a liver issue and she's dyhdrated. I've syringing her nutralcal and water as recommended by my vet. She could walk at 5 was dragging her hind legs at 8 and is now back to walking with a bit of staggering. If she's not better by noon tomorrow My vet is coming to put her down. This is very hard for me as I called the breeder I got her from and was told by someone on the other line she would 'call be back tomorrow' Great right?? I know I bought her a year ago, but I wanted insite into the family to see if this is common or what they had to suggest. I'm kind of pissy right now. Sorry just had to get this off my chest.

Well she didn't make it through the night, and I'm almost glad she didn't. The thought of having the vet put her down turned my stomach. It was a very long hard night of trying and holding her, but in the end she just didn't make it. I didn't think I would be this upset about it but I guess you never really know. Thank you all for your thoughts. On a positive note I woke up to Sakura having her litter, Thank God for a silver linning in all of this.

Oh no!! I'm so sorry about Rosie!! This seemed so sudden! When you said she had been sick, what was going on with her before her skin turned yellow? It all seemed to happen so quick. I'm so sorry she is gone...but at least she didn't suffer. Sending you Hedgie Hugs!!!!!
