:cry2: Well I had to put my Lil' Smokey (a cat) down a few weeks ago due to the fact that he had liver disease and was very sick. I took him to the vet and for a few days they tried everything they could for him with no luck, and suggested that I put him down. This happened 2-20-06 but I still miss him VERY VERY much! I had never owned a cat before and decided to give one a try (my family had never owned one and told me I was crazy for even considering one-but I did it anyway) so I happened to come across a lady who was trying to get rid of some kittens. I took home this little gray kitten sitting by himself towards the back of the box not making a sound. There was nothing special about his color like all the others he was just solid grey but he stuck out from all the others for me. After having him then getting other cats later on I know he was not your "normal cat" he was special! He was so carefree and loved everyone even my dogs and birds ( not a mean bone in his body), just greeted everyone who came in the door. He totally changed my family's feeling towards cats not to mention myself. I will forever love cats because of Smokey :hearts: and will always remember and love him. Although he was only with me a short time of 3 yrs I thank God for putting him in my life and changing it forever! I Love and Miss you Smokey!! Love Mommy ... :cry:
