Of Milkshake's three girls there is this one baby who is just a hoot. She's super brave, super curious, super chirpy and basically just the most entertaining hoglet of all times. She gets into everything.

But she's half as big as her two sisters. And today I noticed she had a bite mark on her face.

I'm worried that she's too little and isn't getting enough to eat. I pulled the two brats out of mom's cage and put them in their own cage. So little one is in with mom by herself.

What should I do? I tried to offer little one some baby food and mushed up cat food but she wasn't interested. She has lots of energy so I don't know if she's hungry or not.

They were born 1/25/06.

My first litter I had a DD hoglet. She was also about half the size of her litter mates. I ended up pulling her two sisters (it was also a litter of three girls!) at about six weeks and she stayed with mom untill she was 12 weeks.
I recomend wellness soft kitten food and cottage cheese. My runt loved 'em.

Good luck! I hope your little girl grows strong and healthy!

I would wean the other two and leave her with mom as well. Also with the bite on the face, make sure it stays clean and she should heal right up. I had two brothers beat on each other one time. I ended up keeping the one that got the brunt of it. He healed up in a few weeks and has been fine ever since.
