Abby is gone but not forgotten

I had Abby for 4 years.. one day last week I seen that she was having a hard time. She spent the last few hours curled up on my chest in the electric blanket with her buddy Randy ( our black cat )!

I'm so sorry for the loss of your little Abby. She was obviously very much loved and will be missed.

Vet said it was lung failer due to old age. I had got her from a breeder here in Indiana that had no problems in breeding line. She is the second of my Hedgehogs that have went this way first was the Hedgehog that the Haven was named after Hedgie. Here is his photo. Hedgie was my first rescue as well. I call it a rescue due to the fact he was in a pet store in a wire cage size of a mans boot box. Over fed ect. Abby was the first I had ever gotten from a breeder. The others who have come and gone from here have all been different types of rescues.
