First of all, a big thank you to the administrators for letting me join :) I have been reading a lot of threads here on CnQ and everyone here is quite knowledgeable and friendly so I think I can learn a lot while getting to know everyone at the same time :)

My name is Nicole and I am from British Columbia, Canada. My friend just got two chinchillas about two weeks ago and they are absolutely adorable, so I'm interested in getting one (or two) of my own to take care of and spoil with toys :D But I definitely want to know everything there is to know about them before I do that, which is why I'm here! ^_^

p.s. i :heart: chinnies! :chin4:

Welcome to Chins & Quills.. This is the place to learn if you are thinking about getting a chin.. You should go through the FAQ section first.. Then ask questions if you have some. I know we learned alot here and are still learning.

Welcome to the forum. It is always nice to see somebody researching prior to getting chins. I am sure you will find plenty to read. There is something new to learn every single day it seems. Enjoy!

Aww thanks everyone! Such a warm welcome, I feel at home already :) Even before becoming a member, I read a lot of FAQ sections and threads, so I've learned a lot although I don't intend to stop. A lot of your stories and pictures are so much fun to read and look at - everyone here has the most adorable chinnies ever! ^_^
