Where to find....

I was reading through posts all day and a lot of people mentioned they sprinkle grape nuts on their hedgies food. I was wondering where did you guys buy it? Can it be found in Wal-Mart or grocery stores? Do they come in packages or containers?

Cereal isle of your local grocery store. I think the box is purple, but it's been a long time since I've bought them.

It's a health-food cereal, so it would be near Vexx and things like that. It comes in a blue or purple box... but I've found my hedgehog doesn't really like them. She prefers shreddies, which also gives her the fiber she'd need. I just crush them up and sprinkle them on her food. That's the first thing eaten.

On occassion, I give Razzle a small bit of crushed up shredded wheat too (I think I'll start calling them "shreddies"! That sounds much cuter!) He didn't really care for the Grapenuts that much anyway, and I was also shocked to discover that Grapenuts contain sugar. :S
