Does anyone know where I can find a pattern to make my own hedgie bags?? I was at a fabric store the other day and was in the nursery section where they had some really really soft materials. I wanted to get some to make a hedgie bag. It is really soft short fur, with a frosted look to it. I wanted to get this to make the bag, the outer part, & then get some fleece to sew to it for the interior part where they sleep. I heard there is batting used in some of the bags? What type is this?? Thanks.

Unfortunently that fabric isnt hedgie safe. Toenails can easily get caught in it (espeically for hedgies who like to dig in their bags!)- as well it would be difficult to get pee/poops/other bodily fluids (if you have a boy) out of there unlike fleece and velux.
For anything hedgie related stick to fleece, velux, cotton, corduroy, denim, or fleece.
For hedgiebag patterns- I know Ive seen some posted around on the web. Try doing a google search :)
