Hi everyone!

I'm planning to visit my brother in Oregon for 2 weeks and wanted to bring my hedgie along with. I'm booking with Delta, but the only flights available have a connection in Salt Lake City, Utah. Last I heard hedgehogs were still illegal in Utah. Does anyone know what policy would be in that situation or if (by any chance) Utah laws have changed recently or not?

Also, for those of you who have flown with your hedgehogs, how did they handle the trip? The flight will be about 5.5 hours total (including the connections) each way. My little guy's been with me on 3 hour drives and seems to handle those relatively well, but flying... well, that's something completely different, huh? :/

I just recently relocated to Virginia from Texas and flew with my hedgie through Delta. I had a stop in Atlanta, GA where hedgehogs are illegal. I didn't even remember it until later.

I did have a little bit of difficulty with the airport staff in Atlanta, but once they realized that I had flew just fine from Houston they let me go fine. I don't think it really matters unless you're final destination is where they are illegal.

Hope that helps. :)
