What would happen if you breed hedeghogs from the same litter?

Umm... you would get an inbred litter... which can lead to problems as minor as extra or missing toes, or in extreme cases, serious issues such as hemophilia. Problems may not show up right away, but down the line as those inbred babies are bred, many more disfigurement and health problems will arise. Why do you ask?

By breeding siblings any undesireable trait will be doubled. If they carry a genetic disease you can be guaranteed the babies will develop it.

You could end up with deformed babies who don't even survive, babies who seem normal but could have internal deformities and won't survive to adulthood, or babies who will for certain come down with genetic diseases.

I agree, why do you ask? :)

I'd imagine it would be basically the same as humans inbreeding. Eventually, you'll begin to see undesirable traits. It's just something that isn't acceptable.

Yeah I noticed after I replied that she had replied. I had someone come to the door as I was typing so it took me about 30 minutes to finish replying. In the meantime she replied.
