I use Solid Gold in my hedgie mix. It's a great food as well, so I'm adding it to the mix. :) At least I haven't found anything wrong with it....

I know of breeders that acutally use Special Kitty in their mixes with no Problems *I don't personally* but seeing as how they have a lot of hedgehogs and no issues I don't see it being all that horrible for them. Also it gets mixed with the higher quality foods.

There are alot of ferret people who use Special Kitty Kitten as part of their ferrets mix. I can't say I'd ever use it though. :)

I wish I could find more of the high quality food around here. So far, I've scouted out a place that sells both Royal Canin and CSFTCLS. When I go there this weekend (Yay! I love food shopping!), I should look at other brands. LOL.

I actually had a male on CSFTCLS and his poop smelled horrible!! I'm a Royal Canin and Purina mix girl ;)

Really? Wow... does anyone else have that problem? It's not a big deal if that happens to Hemi, since she's litter trained.

I have her on a mix of two kinds of Royal Canin right now. I want to enrich it a bit with another variety. lol.

That was the ONLY thing he was on from the breeder, Also he was a bit of a pig...but for some reason it rubbed me the wrong way.

Strange... I've never heard other owners talk about smelly poop because of CSFTCLS... learn something new every day. :)
