Well I don't have any pics before you ask because my camera died right at the exact moment of his unballing: what luck eh?!

Update:

-Wickets poops are a normal color now so he's adjusted and not stressed so much. He also gets up more now and plays in his wheel for an hour at least.

- I had him out the other day on the bed with me as usual and he suddenly took off like a shot, shocked the heck out of his momma!

- I figured out the problem with him not unballing when out of the cage: he only likes to be placed on a blanket like at his old home and he has to have tons of toys around him. When he shot off he was going after toys pushing them every which way. :high5: Even came over to me but still doesn't like to be picked up out of his cage- he hisses and huffs & puffs.

So I thought everyone should know that there has been some great progress :hearts: , which relieves his worried mommy! Three cheers for Wicket if you please? ;)

I remember Nancy telling me some hedgehogs are very territorial about their nests/cages and get very huffy at intruders, but they calm down quickly once they are moved away from their own territories. Wicket must be one of those...

I'm so glad that Wicket is coming around so nicely. Thanks for your update and enjoy bonding with him! :applause:

HOOYRAY for you and Wicket! I am so happy for you. :hyper: I remember that you were very concerned. I bet this is a huge relief. I bet soon his balling up will be a memory of the past. Congratulations. :p
