During a press-release this morning, NASA revealed that life has in fact been discovered on the surface of the red planet. These Martian critters were spotted in the early morning, snuffling about the base of the Mars rover. While their intentions are not certain, several of these critters have been spotted licking and nibbling the rover.
One NASA scientist remarked “These creatures appear to have structures and social organization … we cannot ignore their presence, they’re a possible threat to mankind!”. Another scientist was overheard saying “They’re simply adorable and absolutely harmless. We should make first-contact and attempt to co-exist with these creatures peacefully”.
It’s not known how many of these hedge-martians are living on the red planet. Many scientists are now speculating that the hedgehog species may have in fact been the source of all life in this solar system.
