Help! What color is Horatio?

I just got Horatio on Friday. The breeder says he's chocolate, but I am almost positive he's algerian. His nose is liver and he has mottling on his underbelly and paws. His quills seem to be chocolate and cream colored all over but darker towards his face. Any ideas would be appreciated :)

I agree with the Algerian part. Those cheek patches are just gorgeous. Maybe an Algerian chocolate?

Algerian isn't exactly a specific color....There are choclates in white bellies and algerians, most breeders just call the hedgehog the color and may or may not throw in white bellied or algerian. :)

I would say he's an Algerian Chocolate. Very distinct cheek patches. I also love his name! Very cute :hearts:

Thanks for all the nice comments! It doesn't matter what color he is, I love him anyway but I was definitely thinking along the lines of Algerian chocolate although I hear they can still darken as they get older. I guess I will have to wait and see!
