Hemi is usually waiting up when I get home from school at 5pm, but if I wake her up to play later, at around 7pm, then she's a bit grumpy. lol.

wolfgang won't get out of bed if i don't bug him. he's like a permanent teenager (attitude included). haha

yeps it's a good idea to socialize them and if they are asleep it's kind of hard to do that :) Once they are up they tend to wonder around and enjoy themselves.

I'm not sure if Razzle is really "asleep" or not. I think he knows the schedule! I check on him every morning. I get a few annoyed 'huffs' but I think it's just for show now. :lol: Then he gets the whole day to himself to sleep. Then I get him out around 6:00 - 7pm when I clean up his cage, his wheel, his food bowls. Then he gets the whole night to mess it up again!

If i'm not there, Monty is definitely up and about in the evening...however when I am, he tends to hide in his hedgiebag, and just wait for it to be dark and quiet. Unfortunately for him, i dont' go to bed until late, so sometimes i catch him peeking out of his bag hoping I go to bed. Otherwise, I end up taking him out of the cage while he's sleeping, but I keep him in his hedgie bag.

Recently I've been laying him in my lap, and he's been resting and realxing there with no problems. He will huff everynow and then, but for the most part, he just relaxes as I pet him and give him a back massage. He's very "on guard" if anything comes hear his head, or on the sides of him where his quills meet his fur.

I've been trying to rub his feet if I hand feed him kibble, so hopefully he'll get used to foot massages (hemi induced inspiration...)...i'm trying to get Monty to the point where he's comfortable with me and actually WANTS me to pick him up and play instead of hiding out in his bag...silly guy.
