A riddle or two, anyone???

Here are a couple of riddles. They are both pretty easy, but I just thought I should post em'!

1: How many letters are in the alphabet ?

2: A woman has 7 children, and half of them are boys. How is this possible?

3: It has 4 legs, 2 arms, and it you always bow down to it, but it never bows down to you. What is it?

2. She had 4 boys. It says half of "them" are boys and if you count HER as female it gives the total number of people as 8 and half of 8 is 4. Uh...makes sense to me!
3. A throne. A throne has 4 legs for support and 2 arms for the person to like be all kingly/queenly on. Okay, so maybe I'm wrong?

how is there 11 letters in the alphabet? lol theres only 5 vowels so that doesnt count lol i dont get it......i would said 26 lol theres 26 letters int he whole alphabet lol im so confused
I agree that there is 4 boys...Them emplies the kids and herself, whcih makes 8, and half of 8 is 4.......
I also agree that its a chair, but i dont know why you would bow down to a chair lol. it has 4 legs, and 2 arms lol. hmm
