I can’t believe we have lost another family member so soon after Pixie. Tinkerbell is my oldest daughters 9 month old kitten but really she was all of ours. For the past few days she just hasn’t been herself and her tummy has been getting progressively more bloated. Last night we had her to the vet for what we thought was going to be a verdict of worms, hairballs or at the worst that she’d swallowed a piece of a toy and would require surgery.
The verdict we got shocked and devastated us. She had FIP, Feline Infectious Perotinitis which is always fatal. We had her put to sleep so she didn’t suffer any longer.
Tinkerbell was a Humane Society cat that had come into the petstore that Jess works at and she fell in love with her as did we all. We have had her 5 months and 2 days. She had grown from the silly bratty kitten stage into a really sweet cuddly girl. Our quaker parrot Cookie just recently learned how to say her name and all yesterday was calling Tinkerbell.
If things really do come in 3’s then we have had our 3, Cinder, Pixie and now Tink.
RIP sweet girl. We all love you. Your buddy Tish will miss you as will we all.
