Hi All.
I just inheritted almost 50 chins from my sister who had to be put in a nursing home for the time being, I do know quite a bit from her, not near enough to deal with this many animals at once. So any advice as to the care and or selling of these animals would be greatly apprecciated.

Thanks
Anne

:welcome8: to CnQ. If you have any specific questions, just ask away and we're sure someone will respond if not many! Good luck with your 'new herd'...

Wow - sorry to hear about your sister. That is quite the responsibility you have there....ask any questions you have and there are more than enough people happy to answer your questions here. If you need to sell them you can post pictures in the classifieds section here if I'm not mistaken. People at a minimum would want to know color, any background on them that you have (genetic history), what they would come with, how much you are asking, and anything else you know about them. If there is no information they would probably best be listed as "pet only." Pictures are a big help when trying to sell. Not sure if that is what you are planning or not. At a minimum the chins need quality pellets and quality hay (most likely timothy hay if they are on alfalfa based pellets), and fresh water, and chin-safe wood to chew on to keep their teeth trim. I'm not trying to simplify but I can imagine how hard it is to think about caring for all of these animals right now. Please ask any questions you have.

Welcome and lots of luck and best wishes!!

Please do tell where abouts you are. If anything, you'll find out how many people are near enough to help you and how many are near enough to possibly be interested in buying from you. ;)
