I've always used Johnson's Head-to-Toe Baby Wash for Hope and added a little baby oil to her back in her rinse. It's always worked pretty well but I recently aquired an 8 pack box of Equate Oatmeal Bath Treatment. I thought it might be more helpful to her and something nice to treat her to in her baths. Anyway, is this oatmeal bath alright to use with her? Do I pour the contents of one package into a sock and then lay the sock (tied) in the water?
It says:
Soothing relief for dry, irritated, itchy skin. Compare to Aveno Soothing Bath Treatment.
Oatmeal Bath Treatment with 100% Natural Colloidal Oatmeal helps to relieve dry, irritated, and itchy skin. It's been specially milled to a super fine consistency, so when the powder disperses in water, it will form a soothing, milk-like bath. After bathing, skin feels smoother, softer, and more supple. Cleanses and moisturizes without soap and helps to provide temporary protection for skin with minor irritations or itching. Use daily.
AND I just wanted to confirm that bathing her every 2 - 3 weeks is perfectly fine. She doesn't have terribly dry skin but she does itch when she goes any more than 3 weeks without a bath. Plus, she is just a dirty little hedgie :p so the lady I purchased her from suggested a 2 - 3 week bath.
