Standing Bear of hedieflash.org put it this way, 'calling hedgehogs insectivores is like calling humans pizzavores. It's only one of the dishes we will eat.'
And the general rule of thumb is if it's manufactured to target hedgehogs, it's probably not very good for them.
Check out the ingredients and guaranteed analysis (all pet food should have it somewhere). That will give people a better idea of whether or not it's acceptable. And if it's not accessible (i.e. found only on the internet), I wouldn't get it.

its an ok food but should not be the only food it should be mixed with high quality cat foods like chicken soup for the cat lovers soul, royal canin 37-38,Innova,etc.So the cat food and insectivoure is no less than half and half mix if anything more high quality cat food.

Over-priced junk in a box.
And from what I've heard, hedgehogs don't really tend to like any of the insectivore diets.

I use this product with all my hedgehogs, but I mix it in with other foods. My gang does seem to like it.

I have this for my sugar gliders. It is something I keep in their cage during the day in case they wake up. I'll have to try some with my hedgies and see if they like it. Silly me, I never even considered it! I'll check back in if they are fans!

I wouldn't call it over-priced junk in a box! This is actually a food that most zoos use for their insectivores and I'm going to use it for sugar gliders, but just as part of their diet. It is a very healthy food, and it can be used for hedgehogs.
