Taco Dip Recipe anyone??

I have to make a layered taco dip for a Cinco de Mayo party next weekend. I've looked on line but I can't seem to find a recipe without beef that sounds good. Anyone have one?

I use a very simple one that everyone loves..

Mix sour cream with taco seasoning(1 packet per 8oz of cream).. let sit so cream absorbs the flavor

Put a layer of refried beans (can leave this out if you want to)
layer of finely shredded lettus
Then layer of salsa(what ever brand you like best)
layer of the sour cream taco seasoning
Layer of shredded cheese

repeat until you fill what ever container you are using

I have an easy taco dip recipe also- and ppl just die for it!!

Mix 2 pkgs. cream cheese with 1 pkg taco seasoning, layer the bottom of the tray/container with this mixture-* Optional step* spread sour cream over the cream cheese mixture-- on top of that pour a layer of salsa, sprinkle the top with shredded cheese-- and * optional* heat if desired!!

another easy recipe- similar to my other--

Ingredients :
1 16 oz. sour cream
1 envelope/pkg taco seasoning
shredded lettuce
tomatoes-chopped small OR salsa
shredded cheddar cheese (the sharper the better IMO)
sliced black olives-optional (not everyone likes olives)
chopped onion- optional
any other favorite taco topping
tortilla chips (for dipping)

Instructions :
Mix sour cream and taco seasoning together and let chill for one hour or more. spread mixture in the bottom of a shallow dish. Top with other ingredients one at a time. (I always start with the lettuce as it is light-wgt. and the other ingredients will prevent it from being as messy when eating)

Serve with tortilla chips. It's good as an appetizer and goes very quickly, especially with kids around.
