ok a couple of weeks ago we had a garage sale and Melvin was being called....
A Mutated Rat
A Porqupine (sp?)
A Chinchilla....haha how did they get that one i think the lady thought i crazy when i started laughing when she asked that lol :rofl:
A Diesed animal from the wild
and some ppl knew what he was....i was so proud of Melvin because we probaly educated 50 or so ppl about hedgies and some little kids got to touch and i even changed 3 ppls minds about hedgies (they said they were rodents and they didnt want anything to do with them but by the time Melvin was done with them they became hedgie lovers and decided to go home do some more research (besides what i told them) and possibly buy one ahh i was so happy and then we took him to an auction i really thought it was rude when some one came up to me and Said " They legally allow those rats in Kansas?!?!" i was so offended i didnt know a nice way of saying what i wanted so i said " Yes, actually they DO allow HEDGEHOGS in KS and the make wonderful pets would like to pet him?" she then gave me the nasiset look and said " If it was Possible!" and walked off before i told her it was even though i had been petting him the whole time!!
