Today Hemi was mistaken for a turtle.

I had her out playing in the grass and three high school kids came by.

"OMG.. is that a turtle?"
"That's a porcupine... you can't touch their spikes!"
"Does it bite?"
"Why isn't it biting you now?"

:dunno: I felt like smacking them upside the head, because all these questions came up after I explained that, no, she wasn't a turtle. Her quills are okay to touch, and she doesn't bite unless she's angry.

LOL, I just take her outside on warm days, and let her run around. I just follow her to make sure she doesn't get into anything she shouldn't.

thats what i do and sometimes when Melvin runs too far i just call him and he runs back to me its soo cute..too bad he only comes when i call him when he is outside!! lol

That's funny...sad too though (they need to retake biology or something). I can't wait until I can take Herbie and Kahlua outside. They have never been outside before (we live in an apartment, but are moving to a duplex/house in a couple weeks). Then we will be able to take them out in our own yard! I can guarantee that Herbie will annoint over the grass!

I'm a chilla person, but thats funny lol. I'm pretty sure turtles don't look like hedgies lol. Sheesh. I know nothing of a hedgie, but I know they don't look like turtles. LOL! Funny. Lol I'd love to see a hedgie annoint! I've read about it, and I think it would be the funniest thign in the whole world to see. Especially one that falls over when they do it! lol. I can imagine it's so cute. haha. You guys have cute little boogers for pets. I do too, but hedgies are deffinately cute too ;) lol
