Hi all.. I will be a new chin owner on saturday. I've been reading lots of threads and noticed alot of people having scales to keep an eye on their weights. I figured I better get one too. I just wanted to ask everyones opinion on if this scale would work ok if I change the tray to a different size.
Thanks

Ps. I guess I should also note that it goes up to 2.2lbs or 1000 grams.

that's fine as a scale... most of us use just your regular kitchen scale found at your local friendly walmart...
yes, i would find a different tray once your chin starts growing.. some won't cooperate very well to being weighed... and putting him/her in that lil thing? might give you more fits...

I would personally go for a digital one as I feel they are easier to read and more accurate (could just be perception though :)). I ordered one from a company online but I saw one just like it on eBay as well..here (http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-2kg-2000g-Digital-Kitchen-Scale-w-Measuring-Bowl_W0QQitemZ4460800388QQcategoryZ50419QQssPageNa meZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem), it is much cheaper than what I paid though...live and learn! The one you have pictured is probably fine though, I think it's personal choice too!

Well I'm kind of running low on funds, because of ordering all the stuff for this little fuzzbutt, I think he's more spoiled then me and my husband put together, and he ain't even here yet! This scale is only $7. I figured it would work for now until he gets paid again in two weeks.

What does the scale weigh in? You want a scale that weighs in either one or two gram increments, he's a younger chin right?

And its not something you HAVE to have right away. You could always just wait and get the digital when you have the $$ :)
