Ginger, My Treasure

[Chilly]

My heart broke when I lost my sweet and loving little hamster Ginger on May 6th. She was so strong and such a fighter, I just didn't ever imagine she'd really pass away. She peacefully passed away in the palm of my hand. No matter how many pets I've lost, it never gets easier. She taught me so much about strength and love. I would have done anything for her. She is now at peace, playing with Lucky and Jumbo, and eating whatever she wants. Her vet was so nice and caring, keeping her comfortable so that she could enjoy her last few months with me.


Rest in peace, my beautiful little hampy girl! :angel:

i am sooo sorry ginger passed away... know from your other threads about her, she's been through alot... she isnt in pain anymore, and you're right.. she's playing and eating to her hearts content..

Thanks so much Dusty's Mom. It seemed like every time I thought it was the end, she would bounce back. It was so hard to see her go. I tell myseflf that at least she did live a full life for a little hammy.
