I feed only cat food because it is much more available in my area and it is better or as good as the hedgie food.

I use a mix of about 30% mazuri insectivour,30% chicken soup for the cat lovers soul,20% Innova Evo,15% royal canin 37-38 slim, and 5% mix other high end cat foods just for variety and so they dont get too picky, and they also get their veggies and some fruits in small quanities and small pieces. On top of that they get their treats like mealworms, silkworms, crickets, babyfood meat, boiled egg, or a couple pieces of small dog food.they also get a powderd vitamin sprinkled on their foods at least once a week and females get a dash of calcium while pregnant and while nursing.
I think that is it, they are very spoiled and well taken care of.

No. Friskies is a lower end food. You're better off with Royal Canin. Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul or Innova. Look for something with 30%+ protein and 15% or less fat.

look at the protien and the fat and the first 3 ingredients if the first 2 dont start with meat if probally isnt that good of a food. you want the protien to be as high as possible and the fat to be as low as possible and about 10%-12% fiber

Please dont bump up threads when they havent even been down that long.

Dry should make up the staple of the diet- not wet. Wet can be given as a treat occasionally.

Well, right now Lucy is eating Spike's Delite since that is what she was being fed at the breeder's. I'll be feeding her that for probably another week, and then start to wean her off of that and do the plan of
3/4 old food, 1/4 new food for a week
1/2 old food, 1/2 new food for a week
1/4 old food, 3/4 new food for a week
then finally new food

And that new food will hopefully be a mix of Natural Balance Lite Cat Food and Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul Lite. Hopefully she'll like that mix.
