hi everyone im new to chins and i just got a 12 week old female if anyone would like to share any careing tips thay are all welcome thanks :)

:welcome8: to chins-n-quills! Congrats on your new chinnie! What color is she? Do you have pictures? We'd love to see pictures of her! I would recommend reading and searching other threads to find out more information on caring for chins. Does her cage have any plastic in it? If so, you should replace it with wood. What type of feed are you feeding her? She should be fed a high quality food, either Traditions, Mazuri, Oxbow, Advanced Purina Show Formula, etc. Do you give her hay all the time?

Welcome!! Congrats on getting a chinnie...my advice is to read, read, and then read some more :) , chinnies are such a special critter that require some really delicate care...enjoy!!

her name is neela and she is a standard gray and no there is no plastic in her cage. i have learned alot about chinnies from this sight. i will have pictures soon! thanks everyone!
