I finally brought Hotaru home on May 3rd and she's doing great. She loves her new cage and she runs on her wheel from about 7 in the evening to 7 in the morning. I haven't yet taken her in for a checkup with the vet, but I plan on it as soon as I get some cash flow going. She readily eats her food and drinks her water now without doing anything special to it. Right now I have her on a mix of CSFTCLS adult lite, Solid Gold Katz-n-Flocken, and Purina One Healthy Weight Management. I'm currently thinking about replacing the ONE with Maxximum Indoor cat formula and the Solid Gold with Eagle Pack as Maxximum is cheaper than ONE and is higher quality and Eagle Pack is readily available in my area wheras the Solid Gold isn't. She's not nearly as cranky anymore, although she did give my youngest cat a good bite. I told Shelby that she deserved it for harassing her in the first place. All the other cats are afraid of her, so I never really woryy aboiut having her out around the cats although I do make it a point to closely supervise just in case. Anyway, i just thought I'd give a quick update.
