Today Hemi went to school.

She spent all day snuggled away in her hedgiebag inside my hoodie pocket, aside from the times I had to take her out to show, and when the teacher asked me to do an impromptu presentation on her. It's a good thing I did some research on osteosarcoma, because that subject came up.

It always amazes me how much Hemi loves these outings. Even now, she has sort of a hedgehog smile on her face, and she's just so excited. We got home, and she just started chattering, like she was saying "that was fun! let's do it again! we're home! oh yay! home, I had fun. Can I go back there?" We walked in the door to my house and she let out this chirp, that she only does when she's extremely happy/excited/proud of herself. I guess all those feelings translate into a high-pitched chirp.

Haha, Hemi makes cute noises, that's pretty lucky for you. All I hear out of Wolfgang is a lot clattering and banging. :)

She's very vocal. It's one of the things I love about her.

How cute! That's so cool that she likes outings like that!! She is just so social. My boy would be rolled up in a clicking ball if he were around that many people at once!! :lol:

Well, she's been socialized like that since she was 3 months old. I like having her with me. hehe.

She chatters? Like, what kind of noises does she make? The only sound Lucy makes is when she huffs and pops (which isn't often). The little boy I care for during the day compares her sounds to a truck. :)

She makes all kinds of noises. She squeaks, chirps, hisses, purrs and a couple others I can't name. Usually, she chirps like a bird when she's extremely happy. When she recognizes someone she likes, she squeaks. She's started purring the last little while when she's stretched out on my lap. I can feel her little body rumbling. LOL.
