How often should I change the dust?

Im just wondering how often I should change the dust in the dust house.

good guideline would be: after every bath, check dust for urine/poo's.. if find they peed in it? dump it out.. poo's can be removed, dust reused..
i change mine out every two weeks.. so the equivalant to 4-6 baths..
i believe it varies with the individual.. how many chin's are using the bath, peeing in it, etc..

I usually sift poos out after every dusting.. also check for clumps where they may have peed.. I usually change dust every other dusting, depending on how it looks.

You can re-use dust... if your chin has not peed at all in the dust, just take out a seive with mesh smaller than chin poos and start a'sifting.
Make sure to wash it out well though afterwords. :) I would say that you can use dust until it really loses it fineness and seems to get grittier, then it is time to replace it. But otherwise you can always reduce, reuse, recycle!

Ok thanks.Only one chinnie uses it but i didn't see any pee just poop and I sift it out everythime thanks.

yea. I sift my dust after every use and then use it until I notice a change in the texture. It will fell a bit more gritty when its time to change dust. :)

my female chiny loves her bath so shes always in it therefor theres lots of potty useage going on inside of it i change her's almost every second day however my male maybe 3 times a week so he's gets changed once a week i guess it depends on how much your chin bathes

if they pee in it i thorw it away immediatly. if they just poo in it i clean the poo out so it can be reused. but i change it after about 4 uses.
