Why was my post deleted??

I recently posted in the chinchilla rescue section about 2 ad's I found on the local newpaper's website--

I was hoping to help these chinny's get good homes
I didn't think posting the ad's with their info. would be a problem since it was already on the internet and anyone could view it anyhow

BUT my ad was deleted anyhow :dunno:

Because you are posting for someone else and that is against CnQ rules.
In order to post an animal or item for sale, CnQ Members must have a minimum of 50 posts and must be a contributing member of CnQ for future use of the classifieds. The person listing items for sale must be a member of this forum (i.e. no posting for friends, neighbors, banned members, etc.) These ads will be deleted.

You even mentioned at the time of posting that you weren't sure if you were allowed to. :)
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post these-- or if I'm allowed to be posting them since they aren't my ads-- BUT--

Penny, the ad about the hedgehog seemed like a rescue situation so therefore was allowed.

The ad you posted was someone selling an 8 week old baby chinchilla, probably a breeder. Is this a friend of yours?

not a friend of mine--
they were actually 2 ad's I found on the local newpaper's website

I didn't want them to go to just anyone browsing the "newspaper" who didnt know about chinny's-- it's alright,and I'm sorry for breaking one of the rules-- I didn't know they I wasn't allowed to post it-- that why i mentioned it in the ad-- I just thought it'd be alright because other had posted ad's!
