Well not only is Rosie doing awesome, but so am I! I am no longer scared of her popping and I pick her up with ease. She rarely pops now and she barely ever even puts up her quills!! Also she had her first bath today, which I was dreading, but it was the easiest thing ever! I think she may have even enjoyed it. Now she smells like a clean baby. I am so happy with how quickly she is warming up. She did have bright green poo today :( I read about it and it s probably just caused she is a little stressed. I will keep a close eye on her though, honestly she doesn't seemed stressed at all. She eats and drinks a lot, sleeps a ton and plays on her wheel at night. Our youngest cat Jack just loves her...I think he thinks we got him for her. lol. He sits outside the door to her room and when we let them interact he just watches her so sweetly and every once in awhile lightly touches her like he is saying , "Oh Rosie I just love you...." Is is really sweet. She doesn't seem to mind him at all. But we still supervise...no worries. I have taken some pictures of my beautiful girl and will get them on the computer and posted soon. I hope you all are doing good. And...HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY...cause you are all hedgie mommie...or daddies :)

Congratulations! Sounds like Rosie & you have turned the corner completely. Green poop is just temporary, I'm sure, as Rosie seems to be doing just great. Happpy 1st Hedgie Mother's Day to you too!

It sounds like your baby girl is doing just great. I am so happy for you both. :hyper:
Don't worry about the green poop. The same thing happened with my Romeo from about the second or third day that we had him to maybe a week later. When it didn't change within a few days I got worried too. Since I had an appointment scheduled with my vet anyway (overall health check), I brought a stool sample and they examined it. Everything was okay with it and a few days later his poop turned back to normal. It must simply be all these changes (new home, maybe a different food/kibble in addition, new people). I also felt that Romeo was doing so great, especially bonding with us, but I guess even then their bodies just need a little more time to adjust.
Enjoy your sweet baby girl! I can't wait to see some pictures!
Happy Mother's Day to you and all other hedgie mommies out there! :wavey:
