I would love to research and read everything i can on them so could I have some site addresses and is there any good books out there to get.And what kind of cage is best? I though tanks were a no no but i just read a site that said it was ok. :dunno: I personally dont like tanks. All info would be greatly apprieciated. I am in no rush !!!! Rachel

www.hedgehogcentral.com www.hedgieflash.org http://www.freewebs.com/thehedgieden/beforeyoubuyahedghog.htm

Excerpt from a post by a rescuerpet care books (Kelsey-Wood, Vriends) on hedgehogs that contained a lot of harmful information (the books were all reviewed in IHA News and are contained in the IHA News Collected Book Reviews volume).

You can request the review info from www.hedgehogclub.com (IHA website--International Hedgehog Association), and that site also has a lot of good information.

Research on this is important because hedgehogs can have this genetic problem show up years later.
