I feel so rotten. My little Hewie passed away last night. I spent all day comforting him. We got the twins a big demars cage and set it up yesterday. well while they were running around it Hewie took a nasty fall. There was nothing could be done. I held him in my arms and he passed before we could get him into a vet. I'm so sad. I didn't think getting the boys a new cage was a bad thing. :O

Rest in Peace my little one, you'll always be loved and missed dearly.

oh my... i am soooooo sorry... rest in peace hewie..
please don't feel bad or guilty, or question the buying of the bigger cage..
i definately would call what happened, a freak accident.. sadly, all of us with big cage's have that worry, that fear.... just relish in your memories of hewie, and know you have a guardian angel watching over you and the rest of the herd..

:flowers: I am so sorry for your loss!! It was a freak accident....it happened to me but mine was ok....I really got worried! Always remember the fun times you had with hewie....he will be waiting in that chinnie place in the heavens :sunrise: . ((HUGS))

Thanks everyone, I still feel really bad about it. His brother just sits on the top shelf now and won't come out. I'm thinking of moving him back to the other cage or finding him a buddy.
