Can anyone give me an estimate on how old Mack looks?

It is really hard to tell by looks. Sometimes they mature really quickly and look like adults while still quilling and others still look babyish at 3 years old.

I find that with Marigold it depends on the picture I take/ or the mood she is in-- because sowemtimes she looks likes she is such a baby and other times looks all grown up-- which she is--she'll be 2 in November!

so you can't really tell from pictures-- I mean the pictures you have the first one Mack looks liek he has a baby face and looks quite young-- but the water bottle picture he looks much larger/older-- so it's really very hard to tell! Sorry I couldn't be of any more help!

First, I love the picture of Mack with the water bottle. There's just something about little hedgie feet, and his big ears.. lol.

Second, like everyone else said, you can't really tell age just by looking at a hedgehog. What I noticed with Hemi is, the younger she was, the sharper her teeth were. When she hit about 7 or 8 months old, her teeth started getting a little duller. Now, at just over 15 months older, her teeth are dull, but she still doesn't have trouble eating.

Maybe, try checking his teeth. You'd get a very, VERY rough estimate of his age.
