Hello Everyone! :wavey:
I am Kami. I just found this place and so far, I love it (almost as much as my little chins)! I've had a crazy morning of rounding up chinchillas. I have one (Albert; black velvet) who is an escape artist. He gets the door open (sometimes even with locks) and then whoever is with him gets out also. I should have named him Houdini! Alberts mate is a beige (Lulu) and she has one baby right now who will be leaving us next week. :nolove:
I currently have others that are rescues (Chile and 2 babies). I run a companion bird and small animal rescue out of my home. I decided to do it b/c I was very involved with the local animal shelter and saw that certain animals just literally die in that environment (Persians and Himalyans too). because it is so stressful. These little guys make my life so fulfilling and I just can't stop taking them in and finding them good homes.
I was excited to read about the railroad and can't wait to assist with it! :ring: You all seem so wonderful and committed to your critters; KUDOS!!! :applause:
I can't wait to get more in the loop and get to know you all.
