Sheridan's Home!

Just wanted to let you know that I brought Sheridan home last night. He spent a while with his head hidden in a corner of the cage, but after full dark he began to explore a bit, and this morning I found food all around his dish, poop here and there (including the wheel), and that he had decided to re-arrange his furniture. Not sure if he's drinking, though - I have him on a bowl and he was used to a bottle. Should I be offering him both?

I'm at work now, so I'll pass on more info tonight! :hyper:

I'de definetly offer a dish and a bottle-- especially if he is used to a bottle-- and congrats!!

Yay! Congrats!! That's great that he explored around a little bit. As for the water bowl/bottle....I'd say keep both for now, just in case. I think they "figure out" the water bowl rather quickly. When I first got Razzle, he had a water bottle. I switched him over to a bowl and would stay up all night to make sure he was drinking. (Yes, I was a little overly cautious!) Well he was and all was fine. It's hard to tell though, in a bowl, how much they are drinking. But just make sure it's a bowl he can reach and it is full. I use a small, yet sturdy, ceramic bowl and it seems to work perfectly.

And now...we need some photos of Sheridan!!!
