Hello All.
I have a small problem, and wonder if there's a way to fix it. Every time I try to post something here, once I've finished writing and click either "submit" or "preview," I get a message saying that I am no longer logged in. Then, of course, once I log in, my message is forever lost.
This has gone way past being annoying! Is there any way to change how long I can remain logged in before being logged out?
Thanks!

Are you using the "Remember me" option when you log in?
What is the setting for your cookies with your browser?

At home, yes. At work, no. Should I be? Cookie setting is Allow, keep until they expire.
Of course, since I posted this question, I haven't had the problem.... GRUMBLEGRUMBLEGRUMBLE.......... :(

I dont know how to FIX the problem, but before you hit post, make sure you copy your reply. At least you'll be able to have the post if you do lose it......Just a suggestion.

Which browser are you using?
Firewall?
Anti-virus program?
Do you have the windows firewall turned on?
I'm pelting you with questions because there are certain combinations that will make your temporary cookies disappear.

From work, I use either Firefox or Exploiter. No clue about what the firewall is, but the antivirus is Symantec, IIRC. At home, I run Firefox on a Mac, the OSX firewall, nop anitvirus running (I run it every once in a while). I don't have the problem at home.
I've been copying the posts just in case, but having to start over is annoying. However, like I said earlier, since I posted about the problem it hasn't cropped up again.

Id make sure your browsers are updated too...
I was having issues with mine the last few days. Kept timing out on any page I was on. Very frustrating when things arent working right! I finally got firefox updated to the latest, after having to delete things and dling it 3 times :dunno:
