Tomorrow (6/23) is Romeo's "4 months birthday"! :smiliedance:

I thought that this would be a good occasion to send some new pictues of him and let everyone know what he is up to. Well ... lot's of climbing it seems! Romeo just LOVES to climb, no matter how high and steep, he has got to try to get up there. As you can see he succeeded in climbing "Mount Pillow" and "Mount Blanket" but has not yet figured out how to get on top of "Fireplace Cliff" or the "Couch Mountains"!

Either he is absolutely fearless or he simply trusts me very much and thinks by himself "Oh well, so what if I fall, Mommy will be there to catch me"! And nothing beats some nice snuggles and a little nap after such a workout! :)

He is such a funny little guy and I am so crazy about him. I never thought that I could love an animal as much as I love him.

Happy 4 months Birthday my baby boy! :lovies:

hahaha, i love those pictures! does he thrust the quills on his head forward when he's having a difficult time reaching where he wants? my suki does that. i guess she thinks the little bit of extra thrust will actually get her somewhere.

Is he sleeping in the last one? LOL.

What a little explorer.. he's just adorable. Hemi is just starting to climb her cage. I was up with her all night, just in case she fell. *shakes head* The things we do for them...

HAPPY 4 MONTH BIRTHDAY, SWEET BOY!

ETA: Tomorrow is Hemi's 16-month birthday. LOL. They have almost the same birthday. :p

Happy 4 month birthday, Romeo! I just LOVE the last photo. He's a little angle...aww... :love2:

P.S. Happy 16 month birthday to Hemi too! Hope you'll have a blast on your special day... Keep on wheeling and keep gaining weight, girl!

Thanks a lot everyone!

Romeo was running in his wheel all night it seems. I went to bed at around 12 am and heard him wheeling and then I woke up once at 5 am and heard him wheeling again (still?). Good job staying in shape little guy! :high5:

Since it is his special day he will get his favorite treat tonight, lean ground turkey (very well cooked of course). YUMM!!! :slurp:

He does thrust his quills forward also, especially when he tries to go somewhere where he is not supposed to like under the couch. I put some books in the little space between the couch and the carpet but he is very persistent and keeps trying like crazy to push these "mean" books away with his head and quills. I am amazed sometimes how strong he actually is pushing stuff around! It is so cute though when he does that, it looks like he wears a little helmet!

Yes, he is sleeping in the last picture. That was so cute, I could have watched him for hours. I guess he was kind of exhausted after climbing "huge mountains" for hours and went straight to sleep on my lap.

So Hemi was born on 2/24/05. That's cool. If we lived closer together we could have them celebrate their birthdays in February together (under supervision of course, haha). :)

HAPPY HAPPY 16 MONTH BIRTHDAY HEMI - Romeo and I wish you lots of health and happiness always!

February 23, 2005, really. LOL. Yes, if we lived closer, they could have very well supervised playdates. You know... through glass.. ahaha.

Thank you, it seems all the well wishes are really working for Hemi. She was wheeling for 4 or 5 hours last night and ate a whole bunch of kibble. Sending wishes that Romeo keeps conquering those mountains (he's so cute) and makes those "mean books" move out of his way. LOL.
