Big Momma is gone....

We just had to put Big Momma to sleep. She had kits Monday, and she had torn something and was bleeding into her uterus. The vets tried to save her, but even on oxygen she was too weak to be able to go into surgery, and at 1:45 this morning Big was put to sleep. It was the hardest thing I've ever done....I wanted so bad to do everything and anything to save her, but I realized that was me being selfish, and the pain she was in just trying to breath was horrible for her, and to have her die in pain in a surgery was selfish, and I had to do the best thing for her. I'm still crying my eyes out, this sucks so bad :tantrum: :tantrum: :tantrum:

I'm so sorry about Big Momma, I know how hard it is to lose a pet. I know there's not much that will make you feel better right now...Just remember all the good times you had with her...it will help eventually, because you'll be able to look back, smile, and be truly grateful for having her in your life, even if only for a short time.

I'm so sorry for your loss, *hugs*. I've been in that situation before and it's never easy. Just know that she's not in pain anymore and that you made the right decision. My thoughts are with you and I hope the kits are doing okay. Keep us updated with how they are doing.
