marking hedgies

I've seen on several breeders websites that they marked the backs of their hedgehogs to tell them apart and was wondering what they used to mark them. I've seen blue, red and copper colors. Do they use permanent markers or washable markers or what? :dunno:

I'm not sure... but I think some use non-toxic, water-based tempura paint, or similar.

I think most ppl use non-toxic paints, some ppl use nail polish(which I wouldn't use because of the smell)

I know when I had the babies here-- I used non-toxic acrilyc paint and it didnt bother marigold at all!
