Awww!!! Snowball is so cute (from what I can see). I'm sure the quilling has a lot to do with her grumpiness. No one likes getting their picture taken when their not feeling 100% She's adorable though!!!

Thanks!! I love her and don't blame her for being grumpy. I mean I'd be grumpy too if I had those quills poking through my skin.

No, I don't have a grumpy baby that's quilling, but that looks just like Aquila when she's first waking up. :) She can be rather cross...

-Audrey--giggles- What time of day do you wake her up? I wake Snowball up about 9:00 or 10:00 and she is still tired.

awww poor snowball!! I generally have at least one unhappy camper when quilling comes around. Right now Jack and Vampria666's snowflake boy are rather mad at the world. Baths generally help with soothing the skin but once dried off and about an hour later they go back to hating me for even thinking of picking them up.

Firefly, I love the last pic of snowball. She is so cute. Daisy was the same way when she was quilling. Now that she is done, she is just as happy as ever. :p Have faith, she'll go back to her old self eventually. Quilling must REALLY hurt. :O

I sure don't envy you guys. When Hemi was quilling, her personality didn't really change. I was just really careful to not hold her on her back, or pet her there for very long. She went through an especially long quilling rotation. It lasted about 3 months, I believe. I think I was more grumpy than she was. Quills in the feet aren't fun!

I don't usually wake her up; I just play with her after she wakes up (anywhere between 9 and 10pm) or before she goes to bed (between 5:30 and 6:30am). But when she was ill, I had to giver her meds three times a day, so I had to wake her up at noon. Or sometimes my friends want to see her so I wake her up. Or I just want her to sit in my hoody pocket while I read or something... She's generally in a good mood within a 1/2 hour of waking up... :)
