We bough some apricots (not the dried ones) and i gave some to popples to night. He hasn't eat it yet, but is it bad for them?

Hi. I saw your Popple's photo in the "Hedgie Talk" section lying under the cage ramp all stretched out with his giant smile... He is so cute! Good to know he's doing well after the eye operation too. :)

As for your question about apricots, my guess is it shouldn't be a problem, but it's always safe to ask, isn't it? Well, hopefully this post will bump you up and someone more knowledgable will be able to answer your question as I'm also interested in knowing it. :bump:

I've fed Marigold apricots before-- I fed her the tried ones but really tiny, she ate them, but not alot-- I guess she idn't really liek them after she had tasted them- I think I may try apricots again(this tiem not the dried kind) and see what she thinks!

I'm pretty sure they are alright to feed, my ferrets love them!

There is no reason that you can't offer apricots to a hedgehog. Mine have never liked pit fruit, other than cherries (of COURSE they want the 6.99 a lb fruit and not the 1.49 a lb fruit!).

HM, of course they have expensive tastes!

I've never tried to feed apricots to Hemi, but I know she likes nectarines. She doesn't love them, but she'll lick and bite at it.
