I've been here for about a week, and I was wondering why I can't post new threads in any other areas but here...

Can someone please help me?

As stated in the rules when you joined CnQ, as a new member, your posts go into a moderated status until one of the mods or admins clears it. Per the FAQ's -

When you first join Chins-n-Quills, your posts are moderated. We want to ensure our membership that they will not be bothered by spam, trolls or other nonsense that often takes place on free online forums to the best of our ability.
When you post your posts, they will go into a special section on our forum where they will stay until one of our volunteer staff members comes online and approves your post, at which time your post will show up on the forum.
